Christian Organization for Sustainable Society (COSS) - South Sudan is a nonprofit, non-partisan faith-based South Sudanese organization founded in 2022 to contribute to food security to prevent dependency, reduce vulnerability and enhance self-reliance among women and girls through the provision of structures for holistic poverty alleviation approaches in the world’s youngest nation, and advancing child rights in South Sudan.
COSS engages in early child development, free community-based literacy programs, child counselling sessions, awareness raising on issues of child marriage, child rights, awareness raising on Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) practices, better nutrition awareness, and school feeding programs, modern sustainable agriculture, health and sanitation, and Career Guidance sessions in schools in Mundri East and surrounding Counties.
COSS is governed by the General Assembly, the supreme-making body, and the board of directors decides the strategic focus and mandate of the organization through the Executive Director and the entire management team.
